Coil Gun
12V 5A 'Coil Gun' driven by an arduino and powered by a lab bench PSU, only worked a few times before I melted all of my UV LEDs lol!
Electronic Mini Golf
It was a huge mistake using cheap MDF side panels as the boarders, they absorbed a lot of the impact from the golf ball and did not give a good crisp bounce.
I never actually took any pictures of the electronics and the golf course combined LOL! oopsies.
3d printed stuff

I made these in either 2011 or 2012 and they kind of worked - they just hurt quite a lot to use.
Balance was difficult but not impossible, at no point did I fall over while using them but due to the inflexibility of the shoes sole I wasn't able to get any speed faster than walking.

Immediately prior to making the stupid shoes my friend & I found a (prop) street sign on the ground which I turned into a fully functional skateboard.
I also fastened a block of wood to the back of it in order to not scratch the concrete when I dragged the tail or did ollies.
I ended up ceasing my use do the the dangerously sharp metal edge at the front in case it rolled into someones ankle, that and my dad telling me I'm not allowed to use it..
Having a workshop like this is my dream. I like the sofa
